Table of Contents (The module —)

The Table of contents module is used to generate a table with a list of all the content of your pages.

The module searches for the header tags (H1 to H6) and transforms those into a list of items used in the table of contents. Note that this module does not have the capability to generate a table of contents for multiple pages. However, used with the Views module, it is possible to create pages referencing multiple sub-pages.

The features include a way to number the items either with the automatic HTML ordered list feature (OL) or with an internal system that counts the headers and generates

XML Sitemap Setup

The XML Sitemap module allows you to submit your websites to several search engines:

  • Google
  • Bing (this includes Yahoo! which was bought by Microsoft)

You simply have to turn on the feature and the submissions will automatically happen. To do so, go to admin/settings/xmlsitemap/engines, open each search engine fieldset and select the checkbox, you are done.

Now you probably will notice other fields for the different search engines. Those are used to authenticate your site. It does not make any difference to the submission process. However, it can greatly help you when it ...

McAfee to acquire MX Logic, but...

Today I read that McAfee is to acquire MX Logic (was http://mxlogic.net/).

I may have heard of MX Logic before, but the reason why I went to their website today is because I had multiple connections from their mail service to my mail system.

So I quickly checked out the MX Logic website to see what that company is about...

With proprietary technologies, a global security platform and a comprehensive suite of online solutions, MX Logic serves organizations worldwide to eliminate online threats and protect the integrity of their business communications.

They are selling ...

Representation of an ODBC Database

odbcpp is a strong C++ wrapper for ODBC.

The ODBC library is an interesting concept created by Microsoft in 1988. It is a library that wraps the implementation details of database managers inside drivers. And these drivers are accessible from the library.

Your cell phone is hackable...

This is a quite interesting article which I thought I should share and keep a copy of!

Most of us, even if we can determine whether a piece of software (or hardware!) can be hacked, we just do not have the time to spend on testing each device we use to ensure that no hackers will be able to get it. We rely on the manufacturer to do that work for us.

This article shows that even though all manufacturers have protections, all are vulnerable! And that means your data is vulnerable on your cell phones... Hope this does not scare you too much!

Note by the way that those people who have plenty of ...

Made to Order Software releasing Order Made!® v1.11

In October 2007, Made to Order Software released the first version of Order Made!®, an ordering system that adapts to any restaurant menu for their customers to order their food online.
