Put the label of an HTML Input inside the Input element

Today I was looking into creating a small module for Drupal that would allow me to move the labels of my HTML Input elements inside the element itself. This is useful for small forms such as the Search, Log In, and Newsletter Subscription forms. Bigger forms are better left alone (I think.)

First, it took me some time to find the right keywords to search with. Once I included Label Inside Input Element, I started to get good answers.

Before it was done by setting some default value in the Input element. There are two drawbacks with that method: one you need to test and remove that default

We are glad to let you know that we just made an update to the MO Glossary module, a module extension for Drupal 6.x.

This update brings better support to anchors by offering you five different anchor classes and five different filters (i.e. you can change the look and feel of each anchor based on some criteria that fits your website and group your glossary terms in five different taxonomies!) Also, the anchor can be made to point to one of three different destinations:

One of the options to link terms in a vocabulary to their view is:

taxonomy_view/voc-xxx/term-xxx

This option sends you to that path, exactly (where voc-xxx and term-xxx are numbers representing the vocabulary identifier and term identifier respectively.)

Drupal Security Updates and Module Upgrades

We have just upgraded to Drupal 6.16, installing several securty updates to bring us up to date. Although security issues that the updates addressed have not affected our customers, it is our duty to our clients to keep everything up to date nonetheless.

Insert Node Parameter: cck (6-1.2)

The CCK parameter let you insert one of your CCK field and some node fields that cannot otherwise be added without being themed.

We support CCK fields and several special field names as follow.

Fields that appeared after version 6-1.2 have a version specified between parenthesis (i.e. 6-1.3).

cck=field_<name>; [requires CCK]

The CCK parameter must be followed by a field name. An empty name is likely to generate an error. The name of a field that does not exist is likely to generate nothing.

For instance, if you have a field named see_also, you would write:

   cck=field_see_also;
