SLiteChat Release 1.5.0

I am happy to announce the release of yet another version of SLiteChat. Please see the downloads page.

Features:

• Added the ability to connect to a different grid. This has been tested with a few open-grids, so I encourage feedback!

Bug Fixes:

• Improved the timer resolution which should improve chat lag (especially in group-chat).

Known Issues:

• The context menu for changing the remote person's language away from automatic sensing is not hooked up yet. Also in IMs there is no way to change this either.
• Still need to add the ability to 1) leave a group and 2) search for groups to join.
• The Mac OS/X client may crash when you try to edit the font. Or it will exhibit strange behavior.
• When restarting SLiteChat, the state of the docked Friends and Groups lists windows are not remembered and revert to normal state.

As always, I would love feedback on this project. I really want to improve this and make it as useful as possible. Oh and I myself use this thing. If you are on Second Life and want to chat with me in-world, look up Dooglio Mode, or just drop me an email.
